NEW IMPACT ECHO ANALYZER
Measures Thickness and Quality of Concrete
The James Vu-Con™ System introduces the latest microcomputer,
ultrasonic technology for rapid, reliable Impact Echo analysis
of concrete and masonry. Based on the use of low frequency
impact generated stress waves that are reflected off of external
surfaces and internal flaws, the Vu-Con™ System can be used
to make accurate, non-destructive measurements of concrete
slabs. It can locate honey combing, debonding, and delaminations
as well as cracks, voids, and other defects in masonry structures.
It can store more than 200 individual tests with time and
date indications. Unaffected by the presence of steel reinforcing
bars, the system provides for rapid analysis of results, in
situ, with software for easy uploading to a PC for further
data analysis and reporting.
The Vu-Con™ system allows the engineer to virtually “see”
into and through the concrete surface.
